Carolina has given up 52 goals this season but re-signing Tony DeAngelo is just a coincidence - jimbro83
Fwiw they had him 2 years ago and had the fewest goals against |

If the Flames were to go that route they will want rebuilding pieces, prospects and picks not duds. Im assuming you are trading KK because he isnt producing and Jones because he looks terrible so far. Besides they will most likely want a Center in return. - Brukie
Here in lies a bit of an issue when trading for Lindholm. Although I have said that he plays RW from time to time, he really is a center... and we dont have space at center. Personally what I can see happening is a Chytil and a B prospect for Lindholm swap. Money wise, their respective cap hits are almost the same, so we wouldnt have to move mountains to accomodate him. With these upper body injuries starting to accumulate for Chytil and take longer to recover from, its something to consider.
Because of their cap hits being almost identical, we can still possibly swing another trade and maybe move Kakko for Buch (plus some retention).
Then were looking at a squad of...
Kreider, Ziba, Buch
Panarin, Lindholm, LAF
Cuylle, Trochek, Wheeler
Goodrow, Bonino, Vesey |

he had a tremendous regular season that year the Canes, but the Rangers ate him for lunch in the playoffs and he's been just brutality in his own zone since
Orlov is pretty brutal too |

I read you guys and your trade proposals, I just gotta wonder why the hell St Louis would rather have Kakko instead of Buchnevich |

Why would the Flames want an under performing, oft injured player and a B prospect???
Im sure they could find a better package elsewhere!! |

Im not saying its THE trade, Im just saying Chytil will likely go the other way in a trade for Lindholm. Unfortunately for us, Lindholm has zero say in where he gets traded to. The one thing Id be afraid of with Lindholm is a 3rd team getting involved and monetizing their cap space. With 75% retention, pretty much any playoff team could be in play for him at 1.2m against the cap. |

would this goal get offsides reviewed today?

Does it matter? The video would be so bad they would have nothing concrete to overturn it with. |

I wouldn't mind an acquisition of Lindholm.
I think that you're criminally undervaluing him here though. He is an established first line center, wears an "A" and is still young enough to be considered at the edge of his prime. Chytil, Jones and an unprotected 1st Round pick would be a good starting point, and it may require more if we can sign him to an extension... |

See my post above. Chytil may have 0 value right now as a trade asset. Only value might be in the cap putting him on LTIR frees up |

Money is freed up as long as he’s on LTIR, so if he’s actually out for the season we get his cap hit I think. That would be terrible for him though |

We need a center if he’s out for the season. Can’t roll with bonino as our 3C much longer. Guess we’ll see |
