We need a center if he’s out for the season. Can’t roll with bonino as our 3C much longer. Guess we’ll see - picklerick
Yea. Lindholm is a really good chance of happening. |

Well this would suck if it’s really this bad - picklerick
Should have traded him last season/off-season when I said we should. Now we have damaged goods. |

Money is freed up as long as he’s on LTIR, so if he’s actually out for the season we get his cap hit I think. That would be terrible for him though - picklerick
They have to put him on LTIR, I have no idea what theyre waiting for. It should have been done as soon as they realized this wasnt going to be a quick return.
Lindgren needs to give him some of his blood. |

The same Reason they didn't put Lindgren on LTIR last year. Also if they trade him last year, who are they replacing him with? 20+ goal centers don't grow on trees. |

Crazy idea would be getting Kent Johnson's ass out of CBJ. Kaapo for Kent. Add in a 2nd rounder or b prospect if necessary. Get Mangiapane (Bread#2) from Calgary for, i dont know, a 2nd and Jones? Top 10 Protected 1st if we make the cup or something? No idea what it takes to get him.
Kreider - Mika - Bread#2
Bread#1 Trocheck - Laf
Cuylle - Kent Johnson - Wheeler
4th line
Game day cannot come soon enough |

Wasn’t there a goal called offside that the rangers scored against the Canucks in the cup final ? Have a tough time recalling who scored it |

He had a goal vs Florida that took a few minutes to determine if it was a goal. Maybe that’s the play? I don’t remember anything vs Vancouver like that.
The Steve Larmer goal that McLean flubbed was probably the loudest I ever screamed for a goal, in game 4. I think that was the moment I said holy poop were winning the cup. That made the series 3-1 heading home and yet they almost blew it |

There was definitely one against the Canucks, it was at the Garden, if it wasn't Tik, he was on the ice because he was arguing with the linesman about it, and the replay showed it was onside. I'm pretty sure it was a slapper from near the blue line that surprised McLean |

With the latest article from Brooks on chytl it sounds like LTIR. Aside for trading for lindhom I would try and get Mangipane as well. |

Kent Johnson seems like a great guy to go after, however, it doesnt seem like hes destined to be a C. His FO% last year was under 30%.
Mangiapane I like a lot, however, I dont see how he fits in with Kreider and Zib. Hes a shoot first, to the net player and Kreider already does that. The reason why I feel that line is struggling is theres no one on that line that will draw attention to themselves. Dont get me wrong, Kreider and Ziba draw attention, but I mean a guy who can skate with the puck draw defenders to him and create seams in the defense to get the puck to the open man.
I dont know what the solution is, but what we do know is both Buch and Tarasenko flourished on that line. I feel like if were looking to get that line going, those are the options we need to look into. |
