Sorry, what I understand from this is that the jays are sleeping on Ohtani.

I don't get this. He can go anywhere he wants.

Do you want to go to a place in Canada that's basically in the middle of the continent - but it does have access to water that you should never touch - or do you want to go live on the west coast in a place full of beautiful models where the temperatures are so lovely that the models don't need (or seemingly want) clothing?

I live here because if I was ever near one of those models I would likely get maced - and I mean in the D&D way first and then the other way second.

My Xbox died a few months back so I had to get a new one, so I did.

And now there's a deal for a better Xbox with both Diablo 4 and MWlll for slightly more $$$.

I (frank)ing hate my life.

So it’s not about getting extremely drunk before playing a game on it?

Guess I’ve been wrong since the original one came out *sighs while double checking when the beer store opens*

Just want to mention that GTA waters are actually much cleaner and healthier than people think.

Do you have any idea what gets dumped into coastal waters? Lake Ontario isnt as bad as some think. Go up to sandbanks, the water there is pretty sweet.

My father in law lives somewhat close to Sandbanks (Weller's Bay) and I'd agree the water is amazing in that area. The sandbars are nice too.

In the Bay the water temp routinely gets to 75 or even as high as 80 in the summer months for a football field or 2 off shore. Then it drops off and gets deep - good fishing in that area too.

Only downside is when the water level drops come fall you better have your boat out or a POS you don't care about the hull getting the poop scratched out of it. It gets REALLY shallow, like dry dock on your boat lift if your not careful. That is not fun at all.

well we know the Jays will never win, but the perception is there that they are a win now team.

fangraphs projections at this point have the Jays as the 4th best record in MLB in 2024
so just show him that

Yeah, I’m not pretending to know but that’s likely a safe guess, and it’s something Canadians need to get used to, the scheduling of the NHL will become more and more geared towards what’s ideal for the league in the states
- Dozzer

As much as I like a good conspiracy theory, the truth is that the NHL spaces out their "special events."

https://www.nhl.com/events/

Two US teams played in Australia in September.

Two Canadian teams played in the Heritage Classic in October.

Two Canadian and two US teams play in Sweden in November.

Nothing in December because it's a bad month to try for media attention.

All-Star Weekend in Toronto in February.

Two outdoor games (4 US teams) in February.

Nothing in March or April, because that's when poop gets real for the playoff races.

The absolute best part of Sandbanks:

Some kid will wade out 200 metres, the mother will inevitably scream at their child that he/she is out too far, and the child will reply "I'm standing, and the water's not at my shoulders."

Every franking time.
