I’m just going to say it - every single Tre signing so far has been a complete franking disaster.

Why are we confident his next move will be a good one?

- Atomic Wedgie

Gave Dubas 6 years

Gives Tre 15 games

Signings are looking up.

All 1 year deals aside form 1.3M. I'd sign them all 100x over before giving the Marleau, Mrazek deals.

Term kills on FA day.

Kipper made a good point(for once)

Klingberg obviously has something really lingering. Murray was cleared to play in playoffs but made the decision to nip it and get surgery at 29.

Kane should have gotten his surgery early last season.

And if Klingberg injury keeps nagging, he may need to shut it down and get it fixed. Focus on next year.

Bertuzzi - thought it was a great signing and would produce in a contract year. Not giving up just yet.

Domi - ok signing was in between on that one. Seems to be good contributor in playoffs. Not sold yet but also not ready to throw in the towel.

Reeves - I liked the thought of the signing. I thought his success would be more off the ice than on the ice. Bring the team together and throw in some momentum changing plays throughout the year but also not liability.

Klingberg was a wtf signing but thought maybe his offensive talent would outweigh his defensive liabilities. Not looking great.

They should make the GMs sit next to each other on the 25th with pairs of boxing gloves.

Why?

No idea but why not?

Its unlikely.

But Murray did it.

Kane should have done it far earlier.

Its really up to Klingberg and whatever the injury is, we have no idea.

I’d trade him tomorrow to bring in Kane but he isn’t the reason why the leafs are where they are.

He’s looked better the last 5 games.

It's all good Santo.

I was looking for Dozzer to comment because I made a similar post a few days ago and Doz basically told me I was a dreamer (and some other stuff). 🤣

We had a COVID crack hotel in our neighbourhood. Needles found on my daughter's schoolground on a semi-regular basis.

I still put cars above them on the list. I'm nearly killed by one every single franking day.

Bunch of thieves and criminals and vandalizers. Dirty people who care nothing for others.

Downtown didn't "want" them anymore so they relocated them there. So now there isn't a "crackhead problem" anymore. Like it actually (frank)ing fixed anything.

Zadorov requested a trade

Tanev has injury history, would benefit to trade him now.

Also they have so many UFA’s. Not smart to deal them all at once.

And about Klingberg nah that sounds like bs. He played Friday, and well. No reason to miss Swedish legend Borje’s night.

- Santo_44

Who cares if he requested a trade....doesnt mean they have to trade him now or ever....hes a ufa so eventually he could be.
It doesnt benefit them to trade anyone early, more teams will be interested after december.

How do you know there is no reason? Could be dozens of reasons, the whole team didn't go.

Only two signings look bad.
Bert and Domi have been ok.
Its not even 20 games yet, lets give them until jan before we label them a disaster.
Besides, keefe doesn't make it easy on new players with his line blenders and misuse.

My Xbox died a few months back so I had to get a new one, so I did.

And now there's a deal for a better Xbox with both Diablo 4 and MWlll for slightly more $$$.

I (frank)ing hate my life.

Leafs are playing the Detroit Red Wings on Friday.

I just wish there was a really knowledgeable Red Wings fan who could come on here and talk hockey, and maybe educate us a little on how ice hockey should be played.

Just like how being an internet dumbass is your hobby, playing some video games is mine.

People are allowed to have hobbies. At least mine doesn't involve being really stupid and contributing nothing on an internet forum.

He's on track for 50(ish) assists which would be a career high.

I'm cool with that.

I also think he's looked more effective at C.

Not a horrible signing by any stretch of the imagination. He got off to a rocky start and I think that has biased a lot of opinions on his gameplay since.

From the tweeter

"Best defensemen since the beginning of last season at suppressing chances against by RAPM:

1. TJ Brodie
2. Jared Spurgeon
3. Chris Tanev

It makes very little sense for the Leafs to move on from Brodie to bring in Tanev and Zadorov, you add those two players *to* Brodie."
