I had a bad feeling vs the Canes and they won. I think if they get through the first period tied or ahead, that’s good news

This is part of the reason I could see Kakko being traded. I can’t see Drury signing him for 4 plus million bucks right now. He’s done nothing to deserve a raise. They aren’t in a position to give money like this out based on potential. Kakko clock is really ticking imo, and fast. 2-3 years ago it would be a different story

Maybe it hasn’t been completely necessary to buy him out him. Next summer it’s really tough to see him still around tho. We got more kids probably ready and they’ll need that money elsewhere.
