That’s only 2 for for Adam’s…. Now do Terry, he has to be on utter failure 7 or 8 by now.
The blame for the crap sammich needs to placed where it belongs, right in front of pegs.
It’s not Adam’s fault he is a home grown rink manager that is learning on the job, Terry groomed him for this! - Gr8daygo

Bedard would be the leading scorer on the Buffalo Sabres….. - washedup20
This is amazing to me, the highest scoring player is Skinner…at 62nd highest scorer in the league. Absolutely incredible regression |

Well when you hope the same players have Career years continously, a lot of times your plan fails. When it was known about Quinn, Adams should have been on the phone and replacing him. By July 10th it was obvious you weren't gonna trust anyone in your system to help take that next step. Adams has built a Blockade Around Keybank Center and seems afraid to leave its cozy confines. |

If you want to keep Donnie, then they need to bring in better Assistant Coaches, Wilford is a Turd burger and Ellis should never everrrrrrrr run a PP or Offense. - Buff36
Upgrade one this past offseason should have been 3 assistants,
Peca on the bench
Ellis to a developmental roll
Willford, if he is the d coach, fired into the sun
Bales fired into the sun….
But can’t upset this juggernaut of a coaching staff! They have ALL won so much at the nhl level, oh wait…. Checking now….
Doesn’t look like Willford ever coached in the NHL
Doesn’t look like Christie ever coached in the NHL
Doesn’t look like Ellis ever coached in the NHL
Bales! Bales coached in the NHL!!!
Good lord, no wonder this staff is having so much trouble, they are all learning on the job!
Adams, first time GM, former rink manager
Ellis, first time coach
Christie, Willford, first time nhl coaching gigs
Meatball, first time head coach
Bales has experience and still sucks
Good lord Terry, how bad and out of touch of an owner do you have to be to roll this out as an “NHL” staff. I’m all for giving someone a shot, but 5 out of 6 with no NHL experience…

Two years in a row of bringing in a low end defenseman by giving them term, in hopes they'll be as good or better then where they came from.
Also two years in a row they'll likely be looking to offload the very player they brought in.
Moral of the story: Stop buying from the (frank)ing bargain bin. - kingcong39

Per Lance:
Bad starts have become an alarming trend for Buffalo. Falling behind in games is one reason why a team with playoff expectations is failing to replicate and exceed its success from last season.
“I’m not happy about it, obviously,” lamented Sabres head coach Don Granato. “The lessons will keep repeating until you learn them. You come off a game you feel good about last night, but you have to have greater respect going in to the intensity that’s needed day in and day out in this league. … It’s a matter of respect for that. It’s a matter of experience gained in that, and lessons learned and it’s a big lesson, obviously, tonight.”
Inexperience can’t be a crutch. The Sabres’ latest abysmal start included numerous mistakes by players with hundreds of games in the NHL.

Probably get ripped apart for this and I think it's more on Bad Coaching and Leadership. But is it time to shake up the Core, hate to do it cause I think he's been jerked around this year. But maybe a big trade involving say Cozens and see if he could bring you some needed help. But with all the C we have coming and I believe Kulich is a better C than Winger maybe a shakeup is needed and Cozens would bring back some decent pieces. That's if Mitts is here long-term |

Ddaaahhh!
I forgot the Second Amendment of Sabres hockey….
“The Pegula Lifestyle, shall not be infringed”
Well Terry, that Bills stadium overage is gonna take a decent bite and it doesn’t seem like you are all too interested in drilling wells any longer. Better sell the Sabres to cover the overage
I hear the Ryan Reynolds wanted to buy a hockey team…. |

I rather let a new owner or President make that decision. So nope, buckle up, sit back and enjoy another bite of crap sammich. Change nothing because these guys don’t know poop! Let them ride it right into top 5 pick, no meaningful games in February |

- New ownership
- New GM
- New coaching staff
- New leadership
You can’t fix those through drafting and developing. |

Adams could have signed gudas and jt compher for roughly the same money he gave 75 6 and 17
Instead we sit joker when we have 7 healthy dmen. Even if they didn't know for sure what Ryan Johnson would do, the GM chose this |

Just never forget the GM chose to build the roster this way
He chose to overpay every bottom forward and defenseman on this team. There was a long list of options to fill the depth this offseason with cap strapped teams and players taking short term smaller money deals. Not one trade and not one signing of significance.
Its only one year they said. Why the (frank) would I want adams making depth decisions this offseason? |

Slight tweak. And yes, this won’t be fixed with drafting and development. Actually you will probably just ruin some of the talent you’ve drafted.
Dahlin and Power have both needed that steady vet presence that isn’t just looking to get to 1000 games
How do you think Levi is feeling getting shelled night in night out…
Terry has failed at every level of this organization, multiple times.
I’ll give them credit for the real estate development of the area around the arena and keeping the team in Buffalo. Other than that, their management of an NHL organization is abysmal. You almost have to try to be this bad.

Hate to say it, and also hate to feel this way, but I hope the dreadful play continues to force the hand of someone who actually gives a damn. Watching this team play is like watching the looming train wreck that you know will be bad, but you can’t stop watching |

As for the coach
I listened to his presser from last night and he sounds just as lost as the players look. Its his job to have this team ready to go on a nightly basis and hes spewing out garbage about learning and pressure
Pressure has little to do with the team straight laying eggs every game minus a handful of players who have the internal will and bring it on their own
Consistently getting booed off the ice at home for their lack of effort lately followed by 12 shots and a 7-2 drubbing is the type of poop that puts coaches on the hot seat. How long will this go on and how much garbage are we going to have to listen to if it keeps getting worse before he gets fired? |
