I listened to his presser from last night and he sounds just as lost as the players look. Its his job to have this team ready to go on a nightly basis and hes spewing out garbage about learning and pressure
Pressure has little to do with the team straight laying eggs every game minus a handful of players who have the internal will and bring it on their own
Consistently getting booed off the ice at home for their lack of effort lately followed by 12 shots and a 7-2 drubbing is the type of poop that puts coaches on the hot seat. How long will this go on and how much garbage are we going to have to listen to if it keeps getting worse before he gets fired? - ieetbred
I'm curious if Adams will get to keep his job when Granato is fired. Or will he be promoted to president

Oh it’s promotion time. Adams to President, Karamonos (who I do like) to GM, Ventura (who I do like) to asst to the GM….
End of the day, this team needs an established, Dudley or Gillis at the top evaluating and implementing a plan and vision for this team. And it won’t happen until Terry sells…
assuming olofsson and comrie are not in their long term plans
adams should seriously consider waiving them if he can not trade them so levi, kulich, benson, and rosen get nhl playing time for the rest of the year to prepare them for 2024-25
same can be said for jost and possibly krebs
erik johnson should see the bench so ryan johnson and joker can play
time to make the most of the remaining 3/4 of a season because it's once again a wasted year
GOPHNX.COM: Craig Morgan recently reported that Arizona Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong is actively engaged in trade talks that would involve shipping existing draft picks and prospects out the door to bring in existing NHL talent.
Morgan pointed out how much of a positive impact offseason addition Sean Durzi has made to the Arizona Coyotes’ defense corps. The 25-year-old blueliner is someone who can grow with the club’s young core.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: After three years of tearing the roster down, Armstrong has shifted his focus on building up around core players like Clayton Keller and promising future stars such as Logan Cooley. However, don’t expect him to just start shoveling out most of his draft picks and prospects for veterans.
The Coyotes have eight picks in rounds two through four and two picks in round seven of the 2024 draft, six picks through rounds two and three in 2025 and five picks in rounds two and three in 2026. Armstrong can draw on some of them as trade chips to pluck away quality talent from cap-strapped clubs or those who lack draft picks throughout those rounds.
Armstrong won’t be going after aging stars on expiring contracts. Instead, he’ll likely pursue players like Durzi who are in the mid-to-late twenties and could be part of the Coyotes’ long-term plans.

Maybe we can get to a point where Clifton gets benched but we all know it's not an option for Johnson
I’ve said this several times. We might have had a small chance this year if we were in the west. Every team in the east that was considered our peer from a team development perspective added good roster players, solved for problems, gaps, support needs.
We did not. We just rolled the dice on an aging, useless Captain, his even more useless partner, and added a completely washed up D-man and another Dman who’s had a history of very inconsistent play.
Adams says “here you go Donny”
Meatballs says “I’ve got it! I’ll force them to play team defense until they are so lost, they can’t figure out what the F is going on”
And Kulich needs to stay in Rochester. We are past the point of saving this season. Time to stack Rochester and get these kids some success. Why poison them with this

"You notice I didn’t talk about Jiri Kulich and Isak Rosen’s NHL debuts. I didn’t even ask to speak with them because I think it would be very unfair to make those two youngsters talk after their teammates performed like that.'

even mike harrington has turned on the grizzled old vets in a total role reversal
not good for meatballs and KA when the two ancient team reporters don't like what you're doing

Agreed. Keep Kulich and Rosen in Rochester where they are getting top minutes and opportunities on a team that is in excellent shape for continued success. Keep them away from the toxic environment that seems to be festering in Buffalo. What a shame that most of our recalls this season have been put in situations that were less than ideal. Shame on Buffalo management for exposing these prospects to the 💩 poop show of a poorly run NHL team

Flagged by accident.
Agreed, what do you do with Benson, R. Johnson, Levi?
