i hate goalies and there's like 5 who you know are actually going to always be good and the rest of them should be on one year contracts. - TheSabresTaco
One-year contacts are great if you can get away with them, but I want to see a team design their gameplan around the idea that they won't get stellar play from them and anything above average is a bonus. |

So ugly ….
Granato grow a pair and bench Clifton. Ryan Johnson played with Dahlin in the 3rd. You clearly trust him
As for the forwards. Still too much Okposo and girgenskns.
Enough with the 11 forwards. It doesn’t work
UPL pathetic 2nd goal. Terrible rebound - Sabretooth9
Not sure how you control that better than he did, low shot to far side, that rebound happens 9/10 times. Especialy with a Bedard shooting it. Samulesson needs to tie his man up instead of watching the frankin play. |

biggest disappointment for sabre this year?
clifton, cozens, krebs, levi, or other - homiedclown
Its not even a question.
Most disappointing, Samuelsson for me. Guys a caveman on skates.

Yeah, you really can't, especially when he's cutting back like that into the middle. It's why Bedard is so good too, with that release he's going to cause a lot more rebounds. Can't react until you know where it's going.
Quicker release = harder to control (they don't call it reading the release for no reason) |

Remember when we wanted to waive UPL for nothing?

Strange how goalies are better when the team in front plays even average defense.

And we're still not great, but last night was his easiest start of the year by far. We should beat up on a team like that though. |

Samuelsson looks to me like he's playing hurt. With how Ryan Johnson has stepped up and looked, I don't see why he is not Dahlin's partner for right know. Drop Samuelsson down and control his minutes and heal and get his game back.
Dahlin R Johnson
Power Joker
Samuelsson the other 2
If need be Samuelsson can take some time from any pair to help balance out some minutes. Power already looks beat, Samuelsson could help there until Power finds his legs. |

Another stat that illustrates how mediocre the Sabres have been through 18 games.
Now 13th in the East and 23rd in NHL. Goal differential is -6. Thompson and Quinn aren’t returning anytime soon, either.

This would be one of the most unserious moves the Sabres have made in the past 10 years, 2nd only to the hiring of Ralph |

I disagree. This team could use about a full line of forwards... maybe 2 full lines before a defenseman. |
