UPL is much further along than Skinner. Power and UPL with Mitts improves Edmonton defensively by a large margin, imo.

Draisaitl gives us a bonafide superstar. Power’s loss is supplanted by Weegar and increased minutes for RyJo with Jokiharju gone.

I think both teams benefit greatly.

Agreed its a long season, injuries are already hurting us along with coaching and management of the roster.

Any GM should manage to put together an impressive group of prospects with the amount and positions of our picks the last 4 years. The future has looked bright for how many seasons now? Why does he get credit for continuing what is ultimately the problem here, rebuilding endlessly

What timeline? I dont see a defined timeline to start being serious about winning from this organization. Why are we putting imaginary restrictions on how old a player can be to help us if our core has already been locked up? The timeline is now, it started last season. If dahlin and power were locks for the GM he looks even worse for not using this seasons cap space more effectively
