Rosen, isn't getting you a 14th overall pick.
Kulich, would get a 27th pick, if you believe his coach, his success in the ahl wouldn't translate to the NHL, he has a lot to learn.
Savoie, no way you're getting a top 10 pick for him
Benson, he's been average on a bad team, I'm not sure why he is in the NHL.
They all have plenty of potential, none of them fill the voids in the NHL roster because they all play the same roles.
When you have volume of the same thing and its publicly known, the price drops.
Don't forget Noah Ostlund.....this kid needs a decade to develop and was picked 16th overall - washedup20
Rosen might be playing the best out of all of them not named Benson. |

The Sabres problems are bigger than developing these kids. Adams has already shown he'll burn seasons to maintain his plan. I bet this will continue until the 25/26 season.

1) They are all on different timeframes in their development. With that being said, Rosen and Kulich have done more than enough to get a look with the big club. The fact that Benson already looks like an average NHL forward months after his 18th birthday indicates his high end potential.
2) Price is determined by supply and demand. Even if the Sabres wanted to sell off their young talent, there are 31 other teams that would determine the market place.
3) How many players/assets genuinely see their value increase overtime ? There wasn’t a single team that made trades in the first round of last years draft, so by your logic every single team have seen their assets depreciate.
This goes for players acquired via trade as well. Debrincant went for less then acquired not even 12 months later.
What are Johnathen Huberdeau and Tanner Jeannot worth today ? Sure as hell not worth a quarter of the price paid.
So the whole argument is moot.

Bedard is just one from this past draft alone, this isn't hard.
Everything you said just proves my point. These kids are not the answer to the Sabres problems, that's the important aspect that gets lost in the defense of these prospects. The GM is burning years to accommodate his kids...it's not working.
If any fan base can identify a sh*t team, it's us. |

Oh I agree, just going of the list. Sabres seem stuck in 2006 when small fast forwards could fly around because the bigger players couldn't skate as well. Team full of Skilled midgets really doesn't work anymore. Gotta have some Skilled grit in there. Sabres have some size, but they aren't overly Physical. |

Stupidity on Cozens’ part to fight at that point of the game.
Instead of punching faces, how about fielding a power play that doesn’t piss down its leg
That will win you some franking hockey games - Swedish_Jesus
I thought greenway and clifton were brought in so tuch and cozens didn't have to fight

For clarification, I was saying that during the season last year, and I’d still trade Peterka if it got the right return. Fixing the team is going to hurt, and cost you one, or more, of the precious prospects you think we can hoard forever. - SoCalPucks
You are like 36 trade all the good young ones for who? |
