Honestly I’m probably going to come off biased here but I think the goal against Colombus was the wrong call. Cuyle shoots the puck the puck is clearly behind the goal line. The ref loses sight of the puck and calls the play dead. They look back at the replay and decipher that the play was ruled dead before the puck goes in which is wrong… Last night Hughes takes a shot hits Igor in the chest. Ref has full intent to blow the whistle and actually hear the whistle before the puck trickles in. I’m sorry but that play is over. That’s on the ref for blowing the whistle too soon but we see that a million times where it’s a shot to the chest the ref loses sight of the puck and assumes he has it and blows the whistle. That’s not a continuation of a play. I’m sure like many of you have played and watched hockey their entire lives. I can’t remember ever a time that the calls are so different game to game depending on who is calling the game. Don’t get me started on that elbow to Lindgrens head. Fine you don’t want to call a 5 min major I’m cool with that but that’s clearly a 2 min minor. It’s a late hit and targets the head. I must be watching a different game idk.

Agree with all this 100%. The ref thought Shesty saved it - lost sight of the puck - blew the whistle. That's a dead play. These oddities the Rangers seem to be finding themselves in lately /w Toronto really need better explanation. The call on the ice was absolutely not a goal hence the whistle, but then they state the call on the ice is a goal? I just don't remember ever seeing this quantity of game changing oddities pre sports betting.

I want nothing to do with Laine. He’s horrible defensively and is slow. The only thing I like about him is his shot other than that I want nothing to do with him as a player. Winnipeg traded him at the right time that should have been telling at that moment. The Rangers need to find the Frank Vatranos/Andrew Copps at the deadline. These big time splashes don’t work. Rangers are not going to make any moves until the Trade Deadline unless injuries start to catch up to us.

Rangers traded away 2 long-term captains in recent times, its always possible. Ive been a fan of Jenner’s for several years and when he was on his expiring contract few years ago I really wanted us to make a trade for him.
