Which is insane that we all see something. It's easy to critique from the couch, I get it. But he looks terrible and looks like he's getting worse.
In that game where Jack Hughes has multiple points, you love to see Kakko answer back with something, anything. - blacksheep1
I’m on board. I can’t take much more KK. This is what I mean tho with making a trade, he’s being counted on for production RIGHT NOW. They can’t wait anymore for him to blossom, they just can’t. He may do it eventually, but it has to be now, this season
Maybe tonight! I just remembered the game right before the pandemic hit they were in Dallas and he had two goals that game…we need that Kaapo |

Like I'm fine he's not a point per game player, whish he was. But he's not. But now you can't be getting outproduced by washed Blake Wheeler and Jimmy Vesey (Who's been good besides Saturday. Could have had 3 or 4 goals.) |

I wouldn’t be shocked if he bumps Kakko down in favor of Vesey, on the 3rd line. Vesey is a better player right now |

I’d give him one last chance with Zib and Kreider. No one is going to put up points with Bonino at center. But his decision making has been bonkers the last few games especially. He’s a completely different player than last season where he looked great most games but just couldn’t finish. Maybe one too many raves this off-season? |

The thing that drives us all so crazy about Kakko is, that Finnish league highlight video someone posted a couple of weeks ago. I remember watching that video before we drafted him thinking, Oh My God, this kid is gonna Light It Up. I know it wasn’t the NHL, it was the Finnish league, but he was an 18 year old kid playing against men, and he was filling the net. I just can’t understand what happened to that kid. How can the difference be so dramatic |

It’s remarkable how little he does with the puck. I look at his shots on net and it tells me all I need to know, he has 17 sog in 15 games. 17! Breadman had I think 10 vs NJ lol. To me that’s a glaring red flag of him never having the puck long enough to do anything with it |

I posted that. He's literally never looked that in the NHL. I don't understand how he's become two different players. |

His stat line is generally gooseeggs across the board every single game. What’s so concerning is he’s never looked this bad, now into his fifth season. We always saw glimpses the years prior, this year nada

It's really sad the best thing we can say about him is, He doesn't take penalties

He truly has been that good and don’t see any reason his current style of play wouldn’t translate to the postseason. I did notice in the Jersey game that he was a perfect opportunity to line Hughes up and poked at the puck instead. Would have been EPIC! |

I’m very ok with Panarin not hurting himself trying to lay people out |

I don't want Panarin going after people. Just keep him putting up points. Keep this hart trophy campaign going. |

What sucks is, unlike Nils when we traded him, theres enough tape on Kakko that theres really not much we can do to boost his trade value. |

Seriously, the last thing I want is Bread going in to make a hit, regardless of who the player is and inadvertently end up injuring himself in the process. Nope, no thanks, hard pass on that. |

This is very true, and the right mind set. But doesn’t change the fact that it would have been awesome. Hughes is so slippery and clearly guarded when certain players are on the ice so he’s rarely touched. |

in 2005-06 season, when Jagr set Ranger record for points in a season with 123, after 15 games, he had 21 points
Panarin at 26 points, so he's ahead of the pace
Jagr had an insane March that season |
