Poehling is a good player, wouldn't you agree? He has played well on the 4th line this year and has played very well since being moved up in the lineup. I don't see why people are so focused on his playing time. He has nothing to do with Frost IMO.

No, I wouldn't agree. He had a few good games recently. He hasn't played well on the 4th line. He has been mediocre overall. Has nothing to do with Frost? Seriously? Who was centering the 3rd line while Frost was scratched? LOL

Poehling is a journeyman NHL player who has never played a full NHL season. He is a role player whom Tortorella is not elevating in the lineup over one of the more talented players on the team. Who led the team in ES scoring last season.

He needs to generate offense, whether that be points or scoring chances. Tell me, how did Frost look against Carolina and Vegas, two very good teams? Besides the one drop pass to Tippet for the early goal against Carolina, he did not generate much. Now, I praised Frost for some nifty plays and posted that I thought sometimes he thinks the play faster than his linemates so they are not ready for passes he makes, but in the end he did not have two good games, and thus he sits again.

Do I need to link to the post where you posted that Frost generated a bunch of scoring chances in the Vegas game? I posted you were incorrect and you said all I want to do is argue. Here you are contradicting yourself again. You are full of it.

Frost had 4 points in 3 games. One of those games without a point and he sits. LOL
