He's a mystery box. Mitchkov proved in international and domestic competition he's up there. That's the problem. He had a great year in the MHL last year, but doesn't have anything else and now is injured as you mentioned.

Galchenyuk was the guy to pick in his year. I know Forsberg and Rielly (and many more) turned out better in the long run but I'm still fine with that pick because if the young man had been serious about his career, he would have turned out fine.

Kotkaniemi wasn't a terrible pick, but he WAS a reach to get a centre. Mind you, if you had followed the majority of observers, we would have ended up with Zadibust. The real mistake was alienating the player and letting him go after drafting him so high.
