Montreal underdog team beast Toronto heavily favoured team in playoffs to go on a magical run (albeit with a slightly different ending).

I strongly disliked both those stories with that plot.


But the Aloutettes winning an exciting Grey Cup nailbiter was a good watch (Unless your a Bombers fan). I won't lie I kinda' liked the Bombers losing again a bit - I have a buddy who is a Bombers fan and he's been a bit obnoxious since the Argo's lost bragging about the Bombers being in the finals again.

I'm not much for football, and certainly not the CFL - but because a group of friends were going, I was roped in to going to last week's game between the Argos and the Al's. With little history of the teams and how they play, it's hard to say for sure - but it looks there was a combination of Allen crapping the bed and the Als coming out with a solid game plan. There had to be 5 times when Allen was left alone in a pocket and he could have easily run the ball at least 10 yards and instead scrambled and looked to make a throw into coverage. He was totally off - but were those just good play reads that got into his head?

Congratulations to the Alouettes. It stops my buddy from Winnipeg from being a Richard, too.
