Crazy how avoiding contact at all times can lead to a career with few missed games.
Doesn’t really seem to be a formula for success tho. All the greats were at least somewhat physical. - Arctic_AARDVARK
this is not true and you know it.
this stems from a few years ago in the playoffs Nylander back away from being plastered to the boards on a dump in his own zone.
Do recall Nylander taken a hit behind the opposition to make a pass to JT who scored.

Willys tough in the sense that he can take a beating.
He just doesn’t ever engage in that. He doesn’t ever put himself in vulnerable positions. Which is both good and bad. Remember that play in the playoffs where he voluntarily gave the puck up so he didn’t have to take a hit? That type of stuff.
I was so cruel to young William and though I know he never saw my tweets calling him a “preening wannabee who wouldn’t know what a backcheck was if it came with a tub of hair gel,” I still want to offer my apologies. If he re-signs I promise to never speak about him so cruelly.”
“Now Marner on the other hand? What a bum. Be lucky if we can get a third round pick and a case of Labatts for him.”

I'm convinced that you don't watch Marner play.
Because when you talk about Marner's play, you're actually describing Matthews' game, and when you talk about Nylander's play, you're actually describing Marner's game.
CJ on the Leaf Report says, in Stockholm, Klingberg "gave an emotional scrum" about how "he so badly wants to play again" and adds "I don't know if he's going to be able to." Man... what happened

Klingberg may be done. - Santo_44
I hate to see a guy with injuries like that, but if you're the Maple Leafs it's not the most inconvenient injury that could've happened.

In fairness, if he wasnt so injured, he might be a good player again. Never good to see an injury, but as you said, at this point, the Leafs could use the cap space.
