It was the same way with the issue of the old guard and Clarke and Barber involved. Pretty much the same group didn't want to believe that either. It's staring you right in the face.

Hilarious how easy it is to pull the wool over the eyes of this fanbase.

Bring in a guy who believes in the same old poop that the alumni do but bring him in from outside of the organization.... what's old is new again! Genius!

I pull the same trick on my 4mos old puppy sometimes... when he refuses to eat his food I'll pretend to sprinkle something new into it and he'll proceed to excitedly wolf it down.

I’d bet he’s happier than you though 🤣

maybe you should focus on offering more to the discussion than simply being MJL's yes-man everyday. I bet he pays you in treats

Frost the extra at practice today. Staal playing along side Zam. Frost removed while Flyers were winning, but can't go back in while the Flyers are winning...

That is all.

Well, you may not be able to watch it live but if you have Espn+ you can watch the game from the beginning whenever you can.

Why watch when you can just go to natural stat trick .com the next day and tell us all about what we watched and how we are all wrong.😂

The Flyers 4th line sure looks expensive now.

Delsauriers - $1,750,000
Cates - $2,625,000
Hathaway - $2,375,000

Three guys who can't score, and have been handily outscored, all for the bargain price of $6,750,000.

- Feanor

lmao. Cates had a bad game when coots was out. otherwise he would be even. and has made the 4th line better since going there. he should be back up to 3c instead of rp. Cam A. has worst ga than cates, and his salary is almost all three combined. people still picking on cates bc frost is out. makes no sense.

Excellent analogy!

in other news, samu seems to be doing well for the phantoms. if tanner can stay healthy maybe he will get his call up as well later in the season.

wade not doing well.

- Peter Richards

Samu got lost in the shuffle the last couple years but has re-emerged with a force. Hopefully he has found his confidence and continues to build his game.
I was disappointed with him up until this season. That only goes to prove that not all development is linear and to not give up on a player that young.

They just beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead in the rain. Even playing field as both teams are coming off the bye. A game where they gave up 5 sacks. Tell me exactly how they're living a 'charmed life'? Good teams find ways to win. The Eagles continue to do that.

Championships aren't won in November, sure. But playoff seeding and home field advantage is at stake. Especially when the teams below them keep winning. Chiefs are now 7-3 and will be in a real dogfight for the bye and even home field.

- TobyFlenderson
Pretty simple dude. Did you watch the game. The Chiefs made oodles of mistakes that they don't normally make and one of the best WRs in the league drops a sure winning TD in the open field. They also got a gift on the first TD when there was a blatant hold on the edge. Chiefs should have won this game going away. Thanks!

not at all, both should be playing, they can re-work a 4th line that can actually play hockey. Drop Laughton with Cates and GH, sit ND, Frost and let's see what we have. Now it seems, we will have Zam out soon, Frost will stay out but we will have more vet presence and Physical protection on the ice.

Save it….the O line for the Chiefs is one of the most penalized lines in the NFL. For good reason. The holding calls that were not called the other way were too numerous to point to one. Big Red and Mahommie whine every single play to get calls, and they do. If you want to point to one call, what about the pick play on Byard at the goal line? You can’t do that 3 yards down the field.
The Eagles are 9-1 because they deserve to be 9-1. Have the played their best ball this year? No… (Dallas game was close)…that should scare the rest of the NFL….even not playing to their ability they still win.

- landros 2
No offense, but I keep hearing that they haven't played to their ability yet? What the hell does that even mean? They are 10 games into the season. Perhaps this is as good as it gets. Ya know what I mean? Simple logic without wearing the green glasses that many folks seem to wear on here.

The Islanders have been struggling and aren't very good offensively. I don't see the Isles as a superior team to the Flyers at this point.
- MJL
The Isles have been playing batter lately. Maybe not getting the results until their last game, but they will be a challenge as usual on their home ice.

Good for you. You probably think that they got revenge for losing in the SB to the Chiefs, but that isn't how it works. Thanks!

They're not making the playoffs in my opinion. Too big of a hole. They shouldn't panic and try and trade to save this season. If a smart move presents itself, make but otherwise work to improve internally and take the better draft pick.
- MJL

It comes down to execution and making plays. Catching the ball is no different than executing a key block. The Chiefs didn't make plays. That's what is actually the simple part that escapes you. Missed penalty calls happen all the time. There is no evidence to suggest the Chiefs should have won the game going away.

Still less than -50 Kevin Hayes lol

If your top guys are too fragile to throw a hit in the NHL then you gotta pay guys to do it for them

- black_francis
To me that's one of the best things that was done by Torts to help this team move forward. He removed the turds from the punchbowl! The old addition by subtraction. Got rid of Hayes, Angelo and Provorov (who didn't want to be here anymore).
