It comes down to execution and making plays. Catching the ball is no different than executing a key block. The Chiefs didn't make plays. That's what is actually the simple part that escapes you. Missed penalty calls happen all the time. There is no evidence to suggest the Chiefs should have won the game going away.

If I'm analyzing that game without green glasses on I'm gonna say that the Chiefs certainly looked like the better team. They just kept shooting themselves in the foot with stupid blunders over and over again.

As a fan I hope they do play better. I watched a team last year that grew and were playing their best ball when the playoffs rolled around.
