The Seahawks look like the Canucks after four years of Jim Benning.
- Pacificgem

They are playing a top 3 team, they have no chance against this level of opponent

I thought juulson had his best game as a Canuck,I thought he would get eaten up by the Avs, hopefully he can keep it up we’re going to need him in the short term.

If Juulson was put on waivers he’d go through just like Friedman did.

The fate of the Canucks are looking at a downslide. The KKK of the division Knights, Kings and Kraken will kill Canucks playoff hopes taking all the playoff spots. The end is near. 😉

Need a strong game against the Kraken tonight, they're finding their game and climbing the standings a bit.

I would think, both Kraken and the Flames will be the competition for the Canucks to make a guaranteed playoff spot( top 3 in division)

Kraken just lost to the lowly Flames, I don’t think the Canucks need to worry. Tocchet needs to throw a few garbage cans to wake the team up.

I hope the Flames Brass doesn’t fall for this little bump and sells off all the malcontents. Pospisil is looking like a 4th round steal.

I suspect, and whuddo I know, the Canucks will end up around the 100 point mark, which will only put them in a wildcard spot, most likely. I think they'll definitely get in but it'll be as a #3 in the Pacific Division or as a wildcard team.

It is better to start having a bump with 60 games remaining, than it is to have a bump with 20 games remaining, like the Canucks have had the past few seasons.

I am still unsure if this group can play consistent enough, as they have started to show some signs of past poor play. Hopefully this isn't this groups 20 decent games of hockey, per season.

Juulsen shouldn't be in the NHL period. There has to be a better option.

Like every other team there's going to be highs and lows throughout a long 82 game schedule. I think there's enough talent in their core of players, and their coaching staff, to get them to the 100 point mark, but you are going to see a few weeks a few times during the season where they look tired, scrambled and uninterested. It's physically and mentally taxing to play 82 games of hockey at the pro level.

I just wish they would rest Petey now while they have a cushion in the standings.

So many teams out there needing to trade or willing to trade. Don’t see any clear cut opportunity for us.

I'm about to prepare a stove top espresso and roll a jazz cigarette. Hoping the Canucks stomp some Krackheads tonight. Just stop pretending you know the rigours of a professional, elite athlete.
I'm guessing you're enjoying a mimosa in your salt water pool right now.

I played two years of pro hockey, how many did you play? It was the 80's and we were in top physical condition back then.

Look, we all know your very short junior career was an unmitigated disaster. I'm surprised you brought it up. You must be on your 2nd mimosa.

I actually had to look-up what a "mimosa" was LOL. I think they used to serve us those in business class flights when I was working all around the world. A good start to those 14 hour flights.

Used to have good chats with my neighbour who played for the Kelowna Rockets. He mentioned Shea Weber being on the team. He actually reminded me of you, an island guy who loved hockey but decided on a family and a career instead. He played 2 years of junior, too. He sinced moved to Gold River when 'Scumberland' suddenly turned into a much desired hipster cesspool. Sold his house here and bought 2 in Gold River. Bought the 2nd one to rent to the guy they displaced when buying their 1st house.
You guys who quit junior hockey have big hearts.

Played in the late ‘60’s & 70’s. Played against Bubba Beck at the PNE in the early minor hockey years when he was a nobody. On to North Van where hockey politics ruled the day. The NSWC & Burnaby WC were the teams of the day back then for talent. Lost out on rep teams to coaches sons. Too small as a D but was actually a C. Had to be a goal suck to get noticed not a 2-way C. It didn’t get any notice back in the day. I wouldn’t have gone far anyways. Lol

So no pros but wore a few hits lol

On consistency I’m looking at good starts to games to start off with. Gotta make that a staple. The PK could still get better. Go from there & let the offence dig out wins. Long season of travel & injuries & cannot chase the game as often as other years.
