Much of that depends if they come out hard. SJ has taken on a work hard with little talent look. It’s a game they have to leave it all on the ice to keep the process going. No passengers. Kuz probably slots back in & has himself a game.

Agree but cost is the issue. Also not really a top 4D. Not too shabby but ideally a 5D. When Soucy gets back he or Cole would have to switch sides. That all said his size & skating & mean has very good value if he’d resign a fair contract. Cannot get a rental & other cap moves would have to happen.

It will be a test of fortitude & how hungry they are. To continue to turn the corner it’s more between the ears to be mentally ready then onto putting it onto the ice. Need to roll 4 lines & win the special teams. Relentless smothering in all 3 zones & not let SJ dictate any of the play. They cannot be taken lightly.

3-1 if Blackwood in 6-2 if not.

The major focus should be staying outta the box with no bad penalties. Cannot give SJ any life. Cannot waste needless energy & give SJ any sniff of momentum & wear us down.

There is still signs they are playing tired but it’s no excuse. Every team has to face it. How they respond will be one more step in the process.

Truly good teams find ways to win & depth is one of the ways to do it. The Kraken game they were awesome. Team game & have to dig down deep if want it bad enough. Another good test tonight.
