Good stuff. Have dozens of 'tribute' albums at home on CD and LP and many are so well done. In some cases better than the actual artists but it's rare. The Alice Cooper 'Welcome to the Nightmare' Tribute is outstanding all through. Some great artists on there.
No relevance to the nerds maybe, but to the professional players and coaches, it is very relevant. Doubt too many players check out what their PDO or corsi numbers are. - Reubenkincade
Bit of a nitpick, but players don't have a PDO stat. Teams do.

For a stats need, you obviously don't understand how PDO works. Here is a bit of a description from an article from 2018
PDO
This statistic adds together a team’s shooting and save percentages at 5-on-5. The NHL terms this stat “shooting plus save percentage.” The shooting percentage represents the frequency a team scores on one of its shots, while the save percentage is the frequency of saves made by its goalies.
The Tampa Bay Lightning had a 5-on-5 shooting percentage of 9.4 last season and a save percentage of 92.9. Those numbers added up equal 102.3. The stat is then multiplied by ten, giving the Lightning the highest PDO at 1023. The Toronto Maple Leafs were second at 1019, while the Nashville Predators were third at 1018.
Because the combined shot and save percentages of the league’s 31 teams will always equal 100 per cent — a shot on goal either goes in or it doesn’t — a club above that number can usually expect a regression over a large enough sample size, while one below can expect the opposite.
The stat is also applied to players, with Toronto’s Auston Matthews leading the way last season at 1070 followed by linemate William Nylander at 1058.

Huh, I had no idea. Makes sense though.
I knew what the stat was, just didn't know it was applied to individuals as well as teams, always seen it used as a team stat
You literally do the same to Miller on a regular basis - NorthNuck
Well he deserves a good knob gobbling. Pouty needs to drive play if he wants to earn the big $$$. Right now that’s Hronek, Hughes and Miller. Stop pouting and figure it out
The pouty knob gobbling by this fanbase is so (frank)ing embarrassing and pathetic lol - CanuckDon
You gotta admit though, he’s a fantastic player. He’s a top 20 player in the league and the second best forward on the Canucks, which bodes well for the Canucks.

He is a great player he just seems not there mentally too often. Kid needs a shrink

Very talented or intelligent people are often strange. JT Miller is an example of this, he is such a good player but he’s a strange dude, wired differently. But he can sure play hockey these days.

Can you relax child. He hasnt signed a contract yet but he's guilty, tarred and feathered by classless fans like you.
Look how dumb your logic is...
Right now that’s Hronek, Hughes and Miller.
... but a couple of weeks ago it was EP as well and Hronek had a shaky start. Only a fkn idiot bases all this low worth and hate on a couple of weeks of sub par(to his own standard) play. He only just gave up the league lead ffs. How fkn dumber can this narrative be...(Don says hold my beer).

It’s literally baffling how the Canucks can suck for many many years and then they finally get good players, but some of the fans want to get rid of them because they don’t want to pay them. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in a fanbase. Championship teams all have three or four highly paid players that the team is usually successful with. It’s not gonna change. The Canucks have one of the dumbest fan bases in all sports, not just hockey.

I don’t disagree that the Canucks have the least intelligent fanbase in hockey but the reason some folks don’t want to pay Pouty is because they don’t like him as a player. Skilled but not a leader. Also, quite frankly, very unlikable as a person. He is a freak. Not because they don’t want to pay their top guys. Don’t hear anyone complaining about paying Hronek, Hughes or Miller

Don's logic...
Miller 1/4 season of showing at near 31, he has finally grown into a mature player. Model player.
EP just turned 25 a week ago. Has had some ups and downs with his maturity but never has shown the level of selfishness and immaturity Miller has been known for. Weak pos doesnt deserve patience or respect.

Good thing he isn't the captain then

All those players have been complained about – they price that they paid getting them, or the price they're paying them now, or the price they're gonna be paying them on their next contract/in X years.
