Losing Dach was a monster loss. The man looked like our best player the whole camp and made his line a real threat.

We'd be a very different team with him in the lineup imho.

- Scabeh

Indeed, he looked amazing.

The fact Anderson can't do anything doesn't help either though.

Yeah, if he converted on just 15% of his high quality chances, we might have a few more wins.

agrEEd, could be looking at a top 5 pick again sooner then expected.

I don't think they are as bad as the results from the last couple of games. Alot of times they outshot the oponent and came close. Last game was propably as result of the morale going down.

Team doesn't have enough depth up front and not enough puck carrying D, they will struggle to generate offense at times. Not alot of solutions short-term. Maybe call-up Roy for a little bit of fresh energy?

Roy and Mailloux will play in the NHL at some point this year.

Probably not in 2023 though.

the problem is not really lack of goals scoring as much as the numbers of goals they have been giving for most of the season. One of the worst team in the league with 66 goals against

not sure we have been watching the same games, cause mtl have been giving up a lot of shots and are spending a lot of time in their zone, which lead to the team taking too many penalties

Mailloux still has alot of work in his own zone, Struble is closer to the NHL but alas he's a LD.

With Mailloux's detractors just waiting for a chance to tear at him I would be careful before call him up.

Before Vegas it had been better in the last couple of games, some of them below 30 shots.

Justin Barron one goal back of Caufield with three less games played. Impressed with Barron or disappointed in Caufield? On the bright side the Rocket are tied for the AHL league lead in goals for. Defence the exact opposite. Looking forward to Struble getting his feet wet. Hoping he's impressive and forces the issue. Trade possibilities....Possibly one of our young defencemen and a netminder for someone who can find the back of the net.

Barron has looked very good since he got into the lineup. He's likely to slot in on the powerplay with Xhekaj injured. Probably should have been there already.

Caufield can do better, obviously, as far as goals come but I'm not worried he'll find a way.

rookie goalie, tons of rookies on the team, too many offensive D also, basically they suck in their zone

Were there any expectations for Caufield? The guy was a chump in the NCAA...
