I agree they should care and it should matter but until the public makes it an issue and makes thing uncomfortable to those at the top, they won't.

Anyone who complains about Torts is negadelphia fan and should be ignored, haven't you heard?

I think in his position criticizing is fair game. There are things I think he does well. There are things that I don’t like. But on a message board everyone is entitled to state their opinions. I don’t think that’s being negative.

I have no idea if MSL will ultimately be successful behind the Habs' bench... but just listen to the way this guy talks about the offensive side of the puck... this is the way that a "modern NHL coach" should be seeing the game:

they are absolutely the least popular imo and it isn't even debatable. thy have entered irrelevant status. On of the worst run teams in all of sports.

One of the questions was mine. I asked about the third goal the Rangers scored today.

Poehling had a scoring chance. Sheshterkin made the save and held for the stoppage. The Rangers won the D-zone faceoff, puck went behind the net. They went the length of the ice and scored. I asked him where the breakdowns happened.

He gets sarcastic, as if I'm asking about the second (Kreider) goal.

I said, "No, not that goal. The one that started with a faceoff in the Rangers zone."

Dismissive: "I don't know what goal you're talking about."

Well, gee, the Rangers scored three goals. It wasn't the first one, which started with a set play off a faceoff win in the Rangers zone. Swung the other way shortly thereafer into a 2-on-1. And it wasn't the second one.

As such, it could ONLY be third goal, which went down as I described it. Started with a D zone faceoff for NY, they go down and score.

Also, I already KNEW where the breakdowns happened (there was more than one). I've been watching hockey for over 50 years, since I was a little kid. I know what I'm looking at. Bu, for authoritativeness, this a question for a coach to break down -- didn't have support up high, our D overaggressive at the blueline, forward didn't backcheck, D failed to go to the near side post. Don't have to name names.

He came up small on that. And even smaller in refusing to discuss the power play on a day they went 0-for-6.

Accountability is a two-way street. Professionalism is a two-way street, too.

You should have asked him if he was watching the game and that he should go back to sitting in the rafters for a different perspective.....hes such a female genitalia

I will have to respectfully disagree. Ive lived here in 7 decades now and it has always been:

Eagles

Phillies

Sixers

Flyers.

This is a good visual representation.

Never was a big basketball fan but growing up in South Philly, I walked down Broad St. during the Sixers championship parade, which concluded inside the Vet. The first words out of then owner Harold Katz’ mouth was, “ I wish at least half of you would sign up as season ticket holders”. Truth is, for years they couldn’t draw flies down there even in a championship season.

Exactly!! Flyers 2 million at each parade. Sixas...500,000 for their parade. They had a game 7 against Milwaukee with like 7,000 for a friggin playoff game. People putting the Sixas ahead of the Flyers in the pecking order are simply delusional.

So we can criticize the Flyers and the management... but we cannot criticize the fans? You can critique my views, but I cannot criticize the negative fans? Do you not see the double standards here. Come down from your high horse... do you not realize how condescending are, and superior you are trying to come off on here at times? We all have our own opinions... your looking your nose down at others' opinions doesn't make your opinion any more valid. Disagree all you want with others opinions, but please don't put down others for having them. Conversation without condescension is always the better method... and even standards should always be applied. This is all I have to say on the matter.
- ForeverFlyer16

I'm going to let this go and simply say, I think your view on the fans who are being real is wrong. Simple as that. I'll continue to point that out as long as you are. The weakness of your position is revealed by your abandonment of the subject matter to focus on me personally.

It's kind of funny that the resident genius said that the Flyers were the better team and should handle the Isles. I countered with the fact that they have been playing better lately without getting the results. Wa la! The Isles won again tonight too. I also said when this 7 game gauntlet started within the Patrick division that this would be a good indicator of where the Flyers really are. Wa la...it ain't lookin too good. You're welcome! Eh what?

Ha ha, how do you know? You know nothing about me (ever hear of martial arts?) and it's funny just like your buddy you are moving the goalposts. You just called Torts a you know what you dumbass! You really are setting new records for stupidity tonight and that's mind boggling since you've set the bar so high before this evening. It's funny how triggered you are. You're so desperate that you're now accusing me of calling athletes sissies. Why are you changing things up? Trying to deflect away from your idiotic comments. I just wanted to see you call Torts a female genitalia to his face and you got your panties in a bunch...AGAIN!!

Ever wonder why just about everyone on here end up pointing out basically the same points I did? And also, you focus on the other posters personally as well... double standards, Dude... I thought I told you about that in my last post; apparently to no avail. I do commend you in your defense of the Negadelphians though... no matter how misguided. B!tchers need their platform, I suppose.

morning Bill, so what do you think ultimately ends up happening with frost? Trade or they figure it out?

Any idea or can you say if any teams in particular have called about Frost?

Staal 9 minutes. Zamula 10. Cant continue giving your bottom pair that few minutes. Eventually it will have a trickle down effect. Seeler at 18+ also isnt ideal as that will also bite you in time.

Cates 7 minutes. Has the coached moved on from him? Is he now an afterthought? Entire 4th line under 9 minutes. What a great approach. Is there a worse 4th line from a points perspective than what the flyers throw out?

The forest still being fed 20+ is also interesting.

Do I take that to mean that you don't think it's different this season? Honestly not trying to be smart. Honest question.
