LOL @ Tippett with less than 12 minutes of ice time. He's one of their best scorers. Thanks goodness offensive stalwarts such as Brink (17:38), Poehling (13:41), and Forester, who received over 20 minutes of ice time, were there to help put the puck in the net.

Couturier had a rough game today. A lot of horrible passing and fumbling of the puck, not to mention bad reads and offsides on a number of occasions.

I'm also not entirely sure why Scott Laughton is getting close to 18 minutes. He hasn't played well for most of the season.

You also forgot the burbs. Out here in the western burbs the Flyers are still plenty popular. Of course, I live in a town with 4 ice rinks that are full all of the time. We went out with some old friends on Wednesday night, and it was all about the Flyers on the TVs and people were watching. They had the Sixers at the rickety kids table on a small TV in the corner.

Here you are again criticizing fans. They don't love to be negative. They want to win.. More than just a few regular season games. The passionate hard core fans who are astute enough to accurately assess the reality of what is really going on with this team. Aren't negative or blowing in the wind. They made some bad defensive plays, several bad pinches and one brutal give a way off of a face off in their own end that they had won clean. Allowed two goals in the opening minutes. They settled in but couldn’t score. Their PP continues to be abysmal….oh and Frost was a scratch again.
