Right handy Kane might of helped the stagnant PP...bottom 6 production too....2.75 mill is a pretty good cap hit....

I mean there are players who fit the bill in trade rumors. I look to Montreal and maybe take a shot at Anderson or Monahan both can and do well at net front. Gallagher if they retained salary. Evander Kane was in trade rumors from Edmonton a few weeks back, so I would add him in there. Elias Lindholm who has played center and Right wing. I think Lindholm, Kane and Monahan would be tougher to get, but have been in trade rumors as potentially available.

I like the idea of Anderson...but with 5.5 mill cap hit I just dont see how it works and who they take. There'd probably have to be some retention. I dont think E Kane or Lindholm are in the realm of realistic, as much as I'd like to add either of them. As 10inch said Monahan is pretty glassy.

Rumors have it Yegor Chinakhov may request a trade. He is unhappy with CBJ playing him on the 4th line. Maybe we can get him as a replacement until Rakell returns.

I do think Rak is a better player overall. However, I think Anderson plays more of game a lot of people are craving around here.
