If Ristolainen is in, it should be for Staal. Though there could be a RH shot issue there.
- MJL

Staal would need to deliberately shoot pucks into his own net for Torts to sit him.

Tortorella publicly stated before the season that Staal was not going to play every game. Discounting injury. We'll see how much that is reality. He also said that they're going to have a young defense. Tonight they don't. For a team that is rebuilding, tonight's lineup features a veteran aged defense for a team that is supposedly rebuilding.

This is what I don’t understand. We haven’t played well and can’t score so switch it up. Put frost out there to see if he can get the o jump started. We’ve got sorokin again and we need some skill to beat him imo.

It’s always been said since I was a kid learning hockey, but when things aren’t going well, simplify. The Flyers should just simplify PP right now. Their talent obviously isn’t executing the umbrella so go back to basics. Put bodies in front and shoot shoot shoot from the point. Screens, deflections, rebounds.

Some talk and exchanges about the front office above. Small sample, large sample, it doesn’t matter. Like him or not, when Ed Snider addressed the media or walked in the room, everyone knew he was in charge. Do ANY of the current front office folks walk in with a presence of leadership? Did Fletcher? How long has it been? The Flyers need someone in charge who will command respect and simply call the shots and be the leader. Cannot be successful without leadership in pretty much anything. The current front office does not exude leadership, confidence or a plan. This triumvirate is not going to work and it’s not working. The Flyers appear to be a rudderless ship… again… still. Who’s in charge matters.

Watched a few minutes. Same old bullpoop! If that's how he thinks. He needs to go also.

Very weak deflections on that question.... really toothless response. Total cop out.

Then for him to bring up Brink and Foerster... like two wingers have anything to do with Frost being in the lineup or not. RYAN (frank)ING POEHLING is on the 2nd-line and he's saying there's no room in the lineup for Frost. Hilarious.

Interesting. Important game to start on time and get the first goal.

Frost in for Cates. More likely due to his facial injury than it being Cates's play.

I expect that’s correct. Hopefully they ease rr back in minutes wise. I think it’s a long shot that they win this one and it might be a blowout.

Wouldn’t blame Frost if he had a mysterious flu.

For some reason I hadn’t seen the info on our record with and without frost. 6 and 4 with 4 4 and 1 without.

Torts is a liar. He just blurts whatever comes to his mouth at that given moment to cover his brown eye.
I appreciate the groundwork he is laying but he is once again being a bully for no reason other than to be a d!cc.
I couldn't believe the Stat line for frosts numbers when they were previously posted.
In what world does a competent coach bench a player like that?

Frost on and Brink sits. Doesn’t make sense when you have so many vets playing poorly

Poor Farabee, had chemistry with Brink, just Torts being a dope. Covering his ass, making. It look like either Frost or Brink should sit, not another, older stiff

One youngster on D (York) the rest are veterans.

Brink OUT Frost IN while several veterans who have less of a future with the team continue to play.

I’ve grown skeptical about this supposed rebuild while some of you have said time and time again that this ain’t no rebuild. You who said that were right. It’s clear.

Jorts will have his red rocket out with the thought of making the Playoffs...imagine the depravity to be blinded by that massive self absorbed ego maniac....until the team is mathematically eliminated, theres no doubt that is his motivation
