Also no other market compares to Toronto in the slightest. Its concerning how some people eat it up too.

MTL is the only comparable one but in their current state they have no expectations so its not as bad.

Go be a fan of another team if you want to hear more transparent post game cliches.

Of course, if any team has ONE guy that mucks it up the spot light will be on him. Refs can't/won't call a penalty every shift so if you have a hard ass on every F line and one of every D line, THE LEAFS WON'T BE CALLED FOR MORE PENALTIES.

This team has been soft for so long, refs have an easy time calling penalties on them. Their obvious as (frank) and happen once a period.

Other teams get to whack and hack the (frank) outta of their opponent game in and game out, why, because the whole MF team does it. As they should. It's (frank)ing hockey.

Answer this question: when is that last time a ref called 15 penalties against a team and 1 against the other?

Never, they always try to call the game even. (frank) Toronto didn't even get one 5 on 3 most of last season for exactly this reason.

Leafs need more players that play hard, not ONE.

All good. I fully agree this teams too soft and it's going to take more than a player to change things. Like I said I'd love Truba but they call and enforce things different in this market than others I've noticed. It makes me worried they can't play their style or will be missing games due to suspension if they do. It's like they use our market to make examples of things then let things pass in other smaller American markets to not upset their fans or some nonsense. It's something I've noticed, but can't prove, but I know from all I've seen we play by different rules for some reason. Like getting two instigators that one game for standing up for ourselves yet almost every other time it's not called that way when other teams do it.
