This start to the season is epic, I never want it to end, but I know it will... it has to, right?

The one stat that they mentioned during today's broadcast that blew me away:

Rangers have scored first in 15 of their 19 games played! Coach Lavy really has this team ready to go when the puck drops.

Such a fun season so far. Even the in game hiccups don’t last all that long, or they score soon after. Really looks like they have 3 solid lines now, and 3 reliable D pairs (with Fox), one line that is a work in progress and a goalie tandem the other teams envy. Gus is getting a bit exposed now on the second pair over time, but once Fox comes back that’ll help him and bump him down to the 3rd pair. He’s been a godsend in these times of need tho, what a pick up he was.

If we dont have a complete meltdown in the 3rd vs Dallas and blow a 3-0 lead vs. the Wild... were 17-2-0... a loss to the last place Jackets and a barely there Preds.

Were not gonna be undefeated, no one ever thinks about that honestly, but we had 2 massive meltdowns and 2 losses to teams they probably beat most of the time. 4 games they should have won.

As long as Gus is playing forwards and not backwards, he looks amazing. He's not a guy you rely on defensively, especially not in a big minute situation on his off side.

The CBJ game was so deflating with those two off side calls. They win that game if they get one of those I bet. Nashville was truly the only clunker they’ve had imo. Blown leads haven’t been a habit at least

Honestly it looks not great even if Frederic was holding his stick but also Frederic is a doofus so if it was going to happen to anyone….

Trouba needs a breather anyway. He’ll probably get a game or two

Who plays defense on the 3rd pair?

Do we roll 13F / 5D?

What, you don't like Connor Mackey? Mac Hollowell is back, he could get a look see

So much for that. I’m guessing Trouba meant to slash him but not in the face. Frederic holding his stick and letting go mid thrash led to him getting smacked upside his dumb head

I think the fact that NOBODY really reacts to this on the Bruins shows it was no big deal ---- however I do concede that the optics on this camera angle are bad...

Hollowell? The right handed version of Jones? we gonna roll two 5'9, 170 lbs defensemen on the 3rd pairing?

Mackey is left handed.

Trouba plays the right side, why I suggested Hollowell. It's a moot point now anyway.

I know why you suggested Hollowell, but theres no way he takes Trouba's spot next to Miller. He likely would have been paired with Jones, in which case I would rather he just stay in the minors and roll with 5D.

Was it even mentioned during the game? I can't believe there wasn't a scrum after that
