He has definitely looked more comfortable out there. I understand when you don’t play much it could take a bit to get going when your number is called. I think he has a lot to work on defensively, but at that cost you’re right it may be a good idea to hang on to him.

This year so far has been nothing short of magical. I know it’s early still, but man it just feels great being a NYR fan right now. Everything going right for the most part. Never in my wildest dreams did i feel think they’d look this good this quickly and without arguably their best player. I just want this to keep rolling.

Tampa putting up 8 goals on 15 shots vs Carolina is a pretty high shot %.

I think the Rangers are the most complete team and will win the prez trophy, which will only add to the pressure come playoff time. But we asked for it they won it in ‘94, which is a good omen.

On one hand, I get the reaction, since at a brief glance it’s a guy slashing another guy in the face. On the other, it takes one or two rewatches at the other angle to see that, while reckless, the stick ended up high because of how Frederic was holding it and let go as trouba went to jar it loose (albeit violently)

Agreed, but the rule is you have to have control of your stick. The fine may have been because the stick was being held, but I also could argue it's still reckless and deserving of a suspension.
