I never thought this team would go on a stretch of 7-1-1 without Adam Fox and Filip Chytil. Insanely good.

Props to Jacob Trouba. For the most part he's been really good. Or much better than he was last year.

for me, and i don't think he's been as poor as his card says, he needs to be better on his pinch play in the offensive zone. that's my one real problem w/ his game. he knows he's such an elite skater, he make silly plays there thinking he can come back and play the 2 on 1

Like at times he could look like an elite defensemen and then at other times it looks like he's never seen the sport before. It's odd. The skill is there he just needs to be better or more consistent.

fil was skating before the team the past couple of days, i'm sure we'll hear the same after practice.

Kreider and Zib are starting to play a lot better now. Wheeler has been good there and they are getting the all important chemistry going.

Kakko idk, he’s an enigma. I don’t know what to say anymore. I expected way more this year and this is the worst he’s looked his whole career. I’d like to see him with Cuylle and Chytil but who knows when Chytil is coming back

It’s a tough spot for Drury…not sure Drury is comfortable giving him another contract above the current one, 2.1 I think it is, but at the same time you don’t want to give up on him like you said
