Agreed, Laughts has looked horrific this season to date. Poehling is fast which the Flyers can really use, but he appears to have no hands.

Not really. I think Poehling has been better lately and I would agree that Laughton has not played as well as he is capable of but Poehling has not been much better than Laughton over the course of the full season.

Ok, this coming from a guy who wants the entire new front office gone after only 21 games and calls this year's Jack Adams award winning coach for the 3rd time antiquated, even though he is coaching exactly the same way as one of your heros, Montgomery! Not really. I think Poehling has been better lately and I would agree that Laughton has not played as well as he is capable of but Poehling has not been much better than Laughton over the course of the full season.

I actually watch him play games, lots of games. I didn't say Cutter would be 2nd in the league in scoring, I said Cutter reminds me a Jeff Carter in his style of play, but is more physical.

I think you have recency bias and are forgetting about play over the course of the full season with Poehling.

Torts is teaching this team the most important aspect of professional development, how to win! I have two tennagers that both play national events. They have the game, skills, conditioning, but the most important thing they are learning is how to win. This is the most frustrating and time consuming part of any development process. and as a Dad living through it, it is a roller coaster.

Seriously, the eye test with Laughts this season has been cringe worthy to say the least. He sucks! That first round pick for him is rapidly turning into a 3rd rounder at best.

Weird how Hathaway's production has fallen off a cliff this season. What could possibly explain why this $2,375,000 4th liner is on pace for 12 points in 82 games (and has also been outscored 9 to 4 at ES).

Yeah its odd, I like Laughton, solid player and a leader. This season he just seems to be in a funk. Maybe he took the trade rumor to heart.
