We're acting like the offloading of Lyubushkin for a 4th round pick was a win, which ok, sure, but he doubled down on stupid by bringing in a replacement who is also bad, and is signed for 2 more seasons after this one.

I'd rather he kept Lyubushkin if it meant not signing a replacement level player like Clifton for 3 seasons.

It's something they need to rectify going forward.

Separating things is a way to give Adams credit when he doesn't deserve it.

Moves are not made in isolation, unless he is a total moron.

They generally don't make decisions unless forced.

i can understand that. he had the ammo and the newly created space to fill out the defense and he flubbed it.

Adams needs to get his Sh!t together, with the way the East is and a bunch of Teams Flondering like us. This Season can still be relevant with a few key Moves. Call Calgary and see what's up, if there open for Business lay a offer on the Table for Lindholm and Andersson and really make them consider. You have those kind of Assets, hell get Zadarov thrown in to protect the kids.

Ride him out. I don't trust the (frank)ing guy as far as I can throw him, but let's say he has a.. top 20 league year.

Jeremy Swayman was extended to 3.5 and had an incredible year. So, what, 2, 2.5M if he's good the entire year? One or two year extension, don't drive him to UFA.

2.5M x 1Y, make him do it again.

Well I guess it's Levi or a low end 1 year goalie like Mrazek, Murray (if he doesn't hate Bales?), Lankinen, Brossoit etc.

Can do what Toronto did with Marty Jones, grab a guy you know you can put on waivers if Levi wins out.
