Jeremy Swayman was extended to 3.5 and had an incredible year. So, what, 2, 2.5M if he's good the entire year? One or two year extension, don't drive him to UFA.

Sounds right. Needs to show some consistency. Strong start isn't nearly enough to want to pay him as a #1.

He's about to turn 25, means 2 additional years to UFA. 1 year bridge makes sense.

Hockey Canada wants Zach Benson for World Juniors, but Sabres GM Kevyn Adams told them that he wants to see how this plays out in the next week or so.

The Sabres’ priority is what’s best for Benson and the organization. He played 18-plus minutes in the win over NYR.

This is most likely the cause, which falls on Adams and Meatball.

Adams sacrificed the back half of last season and the beginning of this season to give Levi the clearest path to #1. The effect has lead to multiple players regressing....including Levi. I will give him credit he did it, fearlessly, the entire hockey world questioned it but he held strong.

I don't know, it worked pretty well with Quinn and Peterka, its confusing how much they are trying to shelter Kulich.

Yeah, but Cozens is signed and Mitts isn't. Let's see if Cozens wakes up and plays better with hopefully some permanent linemates.

Probably Cozens. Due to age and contract.

They've been not great but they also came in and basically built the defensive "structure" this team has now as well as fixing that PK.

EJ said this in an interview at the beginning of the year.

They're an upgrade from last year, and Clifton should be better IMO. Send him to the presser for a game.
