I just won't agree with you here that Robertson is untouchable because he "might" provide some value in scoring for his cap hit. I like him but at the end of the day he still hasn't showed he is anything more than a 3rd line scoring forward.

I keep Cowen, Minten all day over him. Who will provide better cap hits for longer.

Well if they want to add D they have to give up some younger players/prospects that have those cheap deals.

Keep Cowen and Minten. Also Knies but thats a given.

They tried, he turned down Klingbergs contract from the Leafs on FA day because he thought he was worth 5x5.

Waited too long and signed 3.9m 1 year, Friedman already said this.

Also I'd rather sign neither, so I am more happy with the mulligan on Klingberg than healthy Dumba.

Dumba hasn't been good this season either.

Leafs need help on D.

If the Leafs can land Kane reasonably then there is options to move Robertson for help on D which is desperately needed.
