To be fair though the positive PR he’s getting on social media pumping him up bcs he knows players, etc(I read something somewhere saying he’s really good lol) on the isles is hysterical. The fans response is even more funny. “Can’t wait to see the guy play” kind of posts setting themselves up for complete, utter, disappointment.

He's just there so we don't have to trot Bolduc out there every night. He'll be better than him but that's probably about where it stops.

It was a smart move not to give up assets to fill the hole Pelech leaves so I'm fine with it as long as he doesn't turn out to be Bolduc-or-worse. And even if he does, he can go right back on waivers and head to Bridgeport if nobody claims him.

Yeah like chiefs said it’s a good move for us. We didn’t have much of a choice but people need to temper their expectations. He’s a body that’s about it.

He's just there so we don't have to trot Bolduc out there every night. He'll be better than him but that's probably about where it stops.

The Islanders fan base on twitter (although I do dig a few of the memes) has to be amongst the worst in all of sports, not just hockey…which is saying something.

The Perry-Mrs. Bedard rumors are wild. Yesterday was a quiet day at work for me and, man, people were having fun with that one.
