fatigue factor is definitely in play here.

Still have to play games and the resilience of this team is amazing. Opposing fan bases refer to it as luck but I think it's truly poise and confidence that they find a way to win. Only Stat that matters. |

No doubt. Lots of holes and weaknesses on this team. They do one thing really well though. They win. That's what they're the best in the league at. Making big plays at the most important moments in the game.

talent and hard work beat less talent and hard work, whether kicker or QB, Eagles have had their talent step forward at the right time. That said they will lose a couple games.

27 shifts, 21 minutes TOI 4 minutes of PP time
0 goals 0 assists 0 points 0 shots 0 shot attempts 0 PIMS 0 hits 0 takeaways 1 giveaway
Team gets pumped 5-0 at home probably about to get another coach fired.
CC is at it again leading the way. Ultimate competitor 🏅 - Fopa21
So he has complete control of the team's effort level even when he is not the Captain? You would think he would take his magical influential powers and either use it for good or for higher monetary value.
Why does he hate winning so much?

Let's face it though. They very very easily could have (should have) lost all of those games. They have had a horse shoe up their butts this year. Luck, breaks and refs.
- Phillywhiteout
Refs miss calls all the time…they could call holding against Jalen Carter on almost every snap…the film doesn’t lie. There are some weeks we’re by almost every game is a one score game. But the NFL does not count could have, should have, would have. It only counts wins, and even an Eagle hater has to admit, Hurts just seems to find a way.
Could they lose this week or next week? Of course. Both teams are good even though they have both lost to some poopty teams. That’s why getting these close wins is huge. A couple of losses really doesn’t hurt. |

I would never guarantee victory or anything but Hurts has won 15 games in a row against teams with a winning record. At some point even the haters have to respect that this team knows how to win. Especially the QB.
I think the Niners and Eagles are the two best teams in the NFL. This game means a lot to the Niners. Eagles are their big bro right now. Every little brother remembers the day they first beat big bro. I am going to have my drink of choice, popcorn and EKG by my side for this game. GO Birds!

Bills are the highest penalized team in the NFL. Seems like a Bills issue and not a refs issue.

Anyone else find it incredible that Torts said out loud that he needs to scratch Zamula because he might cost them games, but Deslauriers plays every single night?
Deslauriers' ES goal results are 2 for, 7 against.
Zamula's ES goal results are 16 for, 9 against.

The extra couple of days rest is huge….Eagles are a little nicked up. This schedule is rediculously hard. Hopefully it’s all hands on deck for Sunday…at least they don’t have to travel to Sanfran. |

A Niners loss is way more impactful to them than an Eagles loss is to the Eagles. I feel like San Fran has kind of played towards this game all year. Mini Superb Owl if you will.

He seriously should be fined. Running backs get fined for playing honest football every week.

You're exposing yourself here. As if a whole community of Eagles fans called into WIP to say they wanted the Flyers to lose so the Eagles could be the first to win a title. It's just flat out making poop up. I knew all along that your hatred of Philly teams other than the Flyers was irrational. This just confirms it. - MJL
seems to be one of your favorite words, wonder why? |

Agreed. The Niners are going to be motivated. They are tired of hearing Eagles fans trash talk them after they beat a Niners team that basically had to run the option in the NFC championship. It will go one of two ways, Eagles win a close one in the final minutes...again, or the Niners blow them out.

It is incredible. Incredible that a coach believed by many to be a very good coach, can be so uninformed. Not to mention that numerous statements made the coach and the GM recently, clearly indicate that this team is not rebuilding. Tortorella has flat out lied numerous times. He is dishonest, unprofessional as well as being a mediocre coach who is the absolute worst coach to have for a rebuilding team.

It ALWAYS takes me back to the story Hartnell told about Torts. Torts said you are doing this, this and this wrong. Hartnell challenged him, they watched the video, Hartnell was right. Torts says I still dont trust you even after being proved wrong.
I am convinced its the same with Frost.

He does not like the "type" of player Frost is. You can't see with your eyes that Frost is "trying hard" so when he doesn't produce points he isn't "trying". The term trying is the same as making "an effort" or being a "200 foot player".

Yes, this dishonest, unprofessional and mediocre coach is going to win his 3rd Jack Adam's award after this Flyers team makes the playoffs this year! Stop embarrassing yourself. |

He just doesn't like Frost. For whatever the reason. Then the GM in an interview, states that Frost is a very important part of the team's future. Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining. A player that is a very important part of the future is not scratched in 50% of the games.

Let me get this straight. Your reply is that Tortorella is going mythically win the Jack Adams in some fantasy world that you live in, in the future? Combined with your statement that last year Tortorella was the hands down winner of the Jack Adams? You have to balls to tell me I'm embarrassing myself? Okay!
