Of all the teams rumored only Detroit has a history of consistently missing the playoffs in the last 10 years. 18 game in or so isn't anything impressive.

To me Dubas franked this team for years to come. You get teams like NYR and Flo, Tampa, Boston, Vegas…….etc, always retooling and making moves. For me the Leafs aren’t good enough to be a contender, and, all our core have no trade contracts! We are doomed to mediocrity for years!! Seriously……..how do you fix this when you can’t trade anyone!? The only move we have is a new coach and Keefe just got signed to an extension!!

the one thats starting to annoy me is the Kings, they won cups, got bad for a few seasons and have rebuilt another good team.

I thought that NYR were done a couple of years ago……needed to rebuild…..and bam look at them now…….they somehow retooled in a very short time, and are arguably the best team in the east. The Leafs with their no trade contracts can’t do anything. So frustrating.
