No it’s fake and is completely emblematic of what’s been wrong with the nhl and more specifically the blackhawks franchise. Instead of giving any sort of color on this they let something like this take hold and in all likelihood have to come out and say “no Corey Perry didn’t bang our 18 year old phenoms mother”. At least they can re-sign him for a similar contact now and not have to worry about a raise. Which was the biggest issue I had with keeping him. Maybe he’ll watch the game from a different angle upstairs now, and see things he can do better with the puck. Idk. It’s just a complete lost season for him unfortunately
