Any time there's a info vacuum hockey fans automatically assume somebody's (frank)ing somebody's wife/mom/sister/dog/etc. Weird sport lol.

This has to be 5 v 5 since Deslauriers does not play special teams, but then how can this 78% number make sense when Deslauriers is only a -5? - jd250
2 -7 = -5
7/9 = 78%

7/9 = 78% - Feanor
Huh? the Flyers have given up 58 goals this year. You are saying 45 (78%) of those goals came when Deslauriers was on the ice?? Impossible. |

Exactly. It’s either sleeping with the mom or wife of another player. Also with the nicknames the players call each other it’s a very very weird sport. |

Hawks just announced that they are terminating Perry’s contract after an investigation. What an org they are. Glad they got bedard and weren’t punished for the previous scandal. - Hextall271
Reading the statement, It would seem where there is smoke there is fire. I wonder if it was non consensual? If not, there are two POS's involved in this story. |

Yup, pretending those fights don’t give the team a jolt just isn’t true - ClaudeFather
I'd rather ND didn't play. But if you watch the Joel Farabee mic'd up during an ND fight you can clearly see how pumped the team is.

We all no that if Bedard was drafted by the Flyers his mom would have had to sleep with Torts in order to keep him in the lineup. |

"The other team scores almost 78% of the goals when he is on the ice."
9 goals have been scored this year with Deslauriers on the ice.
2 by the Flyers.
7 by the other team.
7 / 9 = 78%
I can't dumb this down any more. |

Could be drugs. Many pro athletes end up with addiction issues because of pain killers. It wouldn't surprise me, and there is some precedent for termination due to drug issues.
Could also be some sexual harassment and the hawks are just super on edge about it as an organization. Maybe he was pulling a Brett Favre.

Could be drugs, but I would think he would go in to a league mandated substance abuse program, and that the CBA would protect him from being terminated.
Its just another black eye for the Blackhawks who already have a history of covering up nefarious things.

I'm sure they will keep it under wraps. I wonder if he'll sign elsewhere or if he's done in the league now?
