Would you want the employer sharing why you were fired to the nation for everyone to see your dirty laundry? In my opinion it's unprofessional. I just don't think it's necessary for people to know what's going on. It's private. We are fans but the issues are now that no ones business in professional sports is sacred anymore.

Where the hell is the NHLPA? Why hasn't anyone said anything to defend Perry? Aren't we entitled to the presumption of innocence in this country? What the Blackhawks are doing to Perry is criminal. The Hawks are trying to be professional and manage this internally. We don't need to know, and it's none of our business. The blackhawks are doing right by keeping it tight lipped. This is what a good organization does to respect the privacy of the player and the team. There is absolutely no reason any of us needs to know. I imagine if the Hawks are dealing with it, they dealt with it professionally and appropriately. Just like if any of you or I were fired from our job, it's none of our business, nor is it acceptable for HR or anyone else in an organization to share personal stuff. Get over it.

I disagree. Perry (frank)ed up. They owe him nothing. Who gets hurt in this is the Bedard family, not Perry. And to me the fairest thing to do is be completely transparent for their sake if it isn’t a true story. Society in a nutshell is evil and this is evil but the Hawks brought it on themselves.
