Ffs, only by a few, by most he wouldnt.
Still has 18pts, does a lot of other stuff on the ice that fans would still love him.
Plus hes coming off a 24pts in 20 games playoff result where he dragged his team to finals.
He would be loved here.
So no he wouldn't be ripped to shreds as a leafs. Hes everythings leafs nation wants in a player.

- Fakepartofme

Blah blah blah yes he would

Marner was a selke candidate and gets ripped to shreds

He would 100% be ripped to shreds by the media and the fans

No one would care he makes the other team mad once every 5 or 6 games. Fans like you and the media would be all over him

they have won 11 and lost 9 games. i dont think thats a new point system

Bruins lost 2 less games than the leafs

If the leafs beat them it’s 1

Cancel the Bruins!

Dude, if he only had 3 goals the gnashing of teeth would be biblical.
- Zezel

Yep

I’m sure he loves Florida

Can score 3 goals and be celebrated by Toronto media when he comes over because he gets beat up by a sens player the night before

I’m not doubting they have had two separate seasons and one much better than the other.

But a win against them and the Bruins have one less loss and it’s closer than we think. For me the doom and gloom over a rough start is just so leafy of fans.

Relax, take a chill pill and re evaluate at the half way point.

Ffs they are running on half their D core when Brad has been saying since July that the healthy D core still will be changed.

This D core will look completely different in A few months. It’s a grind right now.

The Panthers are celebrated and they were (frank)ing ass for the majority of the season last year. Every game is on the microscope in Toronto. It’s the way it is.

So Tanev, Zadorov or Brogen

The rest of those options are terrible. Sanhiem way too expensive after a good 20 games.

The only thing being reported is that there was “an incident” involving Perry and a team employee when they were in Columbus

I’d like to know eventually

Would actually like Perry on the Leafs as long as it wasn’t too bad

But I have no idea

I’ve seen a write up about Scott Walker from the Flyers as a possibility.

For all the angst the Leafs have earned 7 of the last 10 points available or a 112 point pace.

Fans like me? Youre the one posting he would get ripped to shreds.
Tkachuk would be loved here.
Marner gets ripped by fans due to his cap hit.

You have to think it was pretty bad. They pulled him from the lineup as soon as they heard about it and then cut him loose once they checked it out. I wonder if they let other teams know about it given possibility of someone signing him.

Yes fans like you.

3 goals in over 20 games as a star.

Would get ripped to shreds and you’d be all over him if he was a leaf.

Every leaf star has at one point, 3 goals for 9.5M? Lol yeah he’d be ripped to shreds this year.

While not playing great.

Love the passion from leaf fans but people have so much anger towards their fandom.

Let’s settle down and wait a bit.

Jacking it in front of an employee, I'd bet a box of Timbits on it.

What doom and gloom? After 20 games, the leafs are an ok middle of the playoffs pack of teams with 2 more wins than losses.
There's no doom and gloom, its early.

No i wouldn't.
Tkachuk does alot of other things and he has 18pts. He'd be loved here, specially after his playoff performance from last year.
If come the middle of year and hes stopped getting points and stopped whats made him so affective....then im sure he'll get ripped.
But fans would love tkachuk here.

not hard to understand why
they have 1 win in the last 13 games that was by more than 1 goal.

really average to below average play.
From a team we expect more from at this point.

- Santo_44

We’ve been waiting for 8 years.

And imho fans have been way too lackadaisical towards losing.

They are in their primes rn. The window doesn’t stay open forever. Leafs fans have waited so long for a legit chance at a cup. Now that they have the players, it’s hard watching them squander it.

I don’t think the overall mood is “let’s wait and see” anymore. It’s, “try something new and make necessary moves to get it done.”
