I’ve seen a write up about Scott Walker from the Flyers as a possibility.
- Canada Cup

Think you mean Sean. Scott's retired.

Do you like to bike?
Do you enjoy playing football (real football)

Then why not play cycleball.

Heard he was clapping Chris Chelios’ daughter or making illicit advances toward her.

Heard something about this…

So it’s starting to look like Perry is just a creep around girls.

Even on bikes appropriate for that I think I'd be falling all over the place, these guys are insane. Hate to see the crashes in this game.

I’d like to know eventually

Would actually like Perry on the Leafs as long as it wasn’t too bad

But I have no idea

The next week or two will be more telling in how the NHLPA reacts.

If there are absolutely no complaints or special handling of how this out-of-cycle contract termination has been handled from either Perry or the Player's Association - then he's done.

I imagine those conversations are being held. As of right now, neither his contract nor his buyout are reported against Chicago's cap number on Capfriendly. While they have enough flexibility to not care, the league needs to decide what it's doing and how it's managing this - and I truly expect it's in concert with the PA to the best of their ability.

For the record, if this is the outcome - we don't need Corey Perry.

I’d rather have neither

I’d take Hyman, Bunting, Verhaeghe, Kadri, Sandin, or Marchment back tho.

The Leafs and Lightning are both playoff teams at the moment. Lightning have played three more games and barely hold the second wildcard.

Honestly, without Vasi, this is better than I hoped for the Bolts.

I expected a little more from the Leafs so far, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as some of the doomsayers are claiming.

The Klinger risk didn't pay off, and there are a lot of new faces to integrate into the system. Young goalie. It's gonna take time to gel properly. Let's see where things stand when Xmas rolls around.

If we went 81-1, the sour folks on here would whine for months about that loss.

some of those players took YEARS to get where they are today and some the Leafs could not afford.

Perry and the PA have 60 days to decide if they’re going to grieve the termination. If Perry decides that’s what he wants, the PA is obligated to move it forward. If the “incident” is really bad, I’d expect Perry to let it slide.

It would need to be about 3 million bad if he lets them terminate his deal. Even if other teams don't care or deem him forgiven, it's basically his last payday over 800k regardless.

5’11”

I don’t mind him but I seriously doubt Tre adds any expiring UFA D under 6’2”

At least 6' plus. Need some real meat and potatoes in front of the net now that Gio is
most likely on the shelf for a bit.

Yeah, not dumping Kerfoot to keep Hyman for example? Maybe he couldnt have kept them all, but damn when you look back, Kyle was a bad GM.

At least he fixed the D and Goaltending though.
