I dont think Rangers are doing much of anything until March other then their own callups - jimbro83
Yea probably
Only thing is they have to watch the standings. They need to win the division this year. Any slumps could force Drurys hand |

That’s pretty helpful that the wings won’t have Larkin tonight sounds like, Kane either |

The cap prevents many things right now unfortunately
Othmann would get a call up if a LW went down I think. Since Kakko got hurt it wasn’t him.
He’s not the answer but he’s a future piece in all of this…But we should all be excited for Othmann, I don’t get the hesitation. Hes 21, not a teenager. But whatevs, he’ll get his opportunity soon. He’s fast and can score which is what we need - Slimtj100
Othmann’s cap hit is 100k more than Johnny B. Could be playing a big role. Just like last year every dollar matters |

this season is a very good lesson for the offseason cap people who like to make capfriendly lineup charts with 12 forwards, 6 defensemen, 2 goalies and 100k in available space left over

Is he playing tonight? Seems really early to just throw him out there |

He’s going to score ten goals vs us in the ECF, but we’ll win in 7 |

Im kind of glad Florida didn’t get him. I think the devils and panthers are the 2 biggest hurdles for us to get to the SCF |

I'm not optimistic for the Wings tonight... Can you guys spot us a couple goals in the first period ? Wings are going to get spanked if they take too many penalties.
No Larkin tonight and we got Husso in goal... UGGGHHH. Wings should have started Lyon who is actually playing the best of their three goalies.
As far as Kane goes.. I doubt he'll get his first game in until Satruday. All the negative comments about Kane quadrupled once Detroit signed him (especially from Toronto and Florida fans). Not sure if it's sour grapes or people just like to hate the Wings. I'm okay with Yzerman's deal of a one year, "show me" contract now that I've had time to digest it. Low risk... we'll see what happens. If Kane helps the Wings grab a playoff spot it's worth it.
Curious what you Ranger fans think... he last played for your team. |

This is what I’ve learned about Kane (from “fans”) His production is completely irrelevant, he has a bad hip and he can’t play defense. Never mind the extra two goals a game you can get from him, it just doesn’t matter |

The Rangers didn't get that. Especially when they needed it. |

Well he scored a huge goal in game 2. It wasn’t just him that sucked. I blame GG for refusing to play him with Panarin. They barely played a shift together which I thought was the whole point of getting him |

They were both playing like defensive liabilities. Can't have two of them on the same line. |

GG was the biggest problem I think we’ve learned this year tho. Like he wouldve been much better under Lavy imo
If you watch that goal again, he literally did everything on it. DEFENSIVELY too. I know it was one goal but I don’t buy he was the worst defensive forward ever, that was all people said basically. It didn’t work it’s over with we moved on |

Are the jets really going to play Rodgers? they designated him for return. I’m not sure if that means he’ll play again, but the fact they are thinking about it is very Jet like. Just forget it and not risk him for next season too. You know damn well he’ll probably tear his other Achilles, or the same one again 😔 |
