The 1st period, although we didnt score, we played really well. Basically had them in their end most of the period. After that… first 5 min of the 2nd we got the score… then Panarin took the penalty and its been downhill since.

What I’m talking about is one of the most annoying things to me. A player knows a hit is coming, turns into the boards hoping they won’t get hit, and then complain they got smashed into the glass. I’ve heard some of the older players talk about it and how they used to know a hit was coming and protect themselves, now these guys put themselves in dangerous spots thinking they just won’t get hit.

Again; I’ll watch the replay again but that’s what it kinda seemed like to me. Also thought he caught the shoulder
