For me its Tree making the d moves. Prefer adding Zadorov and Peeke, and then jettison Samsonov and call up Jones to work with and back up Woll till you can find an outright true elite #1 or Woll shows he can handle it

I think Treliving likely got a feel for that when he arrived and based on that long period of assessment, he extended Keefe. This was before Matthews signed. So I would actually be surprised if Keefe is out of favour with the players, because I don't think Treliving would want to give his franchise player any reason to hesitate in signing an extension.

That's just a guess based on that reasoning though. If I could tell more based on press conference answers or facial expressions I'd be playing pro poker or something.
