HA HA Larry Brooks!!!!!!!
Not a credible source, just a click bait artist!

- HenryHockey

Click bait, like the garbage your blogger just put out?

He knows NY is a huge market. Say some nonsense to get people commenting. What does this clown average on a normal post? 15 comments or so.....

Good luck the rest of the way. You guys are going to need it.

Red wings had 5 power plays the Rangers had 2 power plays.

If anyone thinks the Rangers were big bad bullies last night then it was called correctly.

Last two minutes of the game Red Wings had a powerplay and pulled the goalie for a 6 on 4 and couldn’t get it done.

These comments by this blogger are out of frustration over that.

I get it, the Rangers are more physical and deserved those penalties. And they outplayed the Wings and deserved the win. No question. Cuyle's hit was dangerous and took out the Wing's highest scoring D-man. If Kostin did a similar hit on Fox......well...........
Krieder's hit on the Cat looked bad, but looking at it a few more times I believe the Cat also tried to sell it......who can be sure.
I seen a marked improvement in the Wings from their first game with the NYR, to this game. I am happy with that, and that is all I can take from this. I just hope Ghost is OK.

Rangers have gotten hosed all season this year so we may be a bit uptight when we possibly get a call or two, hence our reaction in here. Like it’s about damn time kind of thing. We’re like 1 for 37 on goal reviews now

Cuylle should’ve been a major. Panarin took one penalty, not 100. Debrincat is small thus why that looked bad. Raymond deserved an embellishment penalty. I think that’s all fair

Also Your coach is a strange looking dude lol

It's cute that you want to defend your blogger. Maybe if he didn't spew bullshyt and come off like an bumhole, he wouldn't get responses like this. Go take a look at some of the other comments made by wings fans on this very blog. Take a hike.

Well, Fox got hit by someone who was looking him in the eye while the puck was 75 feet away and just came back from missing 10 games because of it. I don't remember any crusade over it.

Well Larry Brooks sure has your dedication.
Jeremy is not a sensationalist or click bait artist. He works very hard on these posts and deserves respect. He is an emotional fan of Hockeytown and its heritage. I am not unmoved when a star player gets put out of the game with a dangerous hit. Are you when a Tom Wilson throws Panarin around like a rag doll?? Neither play deserves to be in our sport, but violence sells tickets and will be a part of the game till one of the biggest stars is crushed and does not return to the sport. The NHL will not go to bigger ice to give more room, because it means less violent hits and displaces 1 row of expensive seats. Well, enough for now. I am going to concentrate on the next game now. Cheers!

Jeremy, I can understand your view in the blog and if I was on the other side, I might have a somewhat similar view. But, as other mentioned, my job is to be professional and remove all fan-colored glasses. That means I call it as I see it and call out the Rangers when needed. If they are dirty, I call it out and don't sweep it under the rug. The Cuylle hit was dangerous, not dirty. I could have seen that be five minutes not a misconduct or more. Same with Kreider and DeBrincat certainly saw him coming. Trocheck was more on the dirty side and he has to be smarter. I don't pander to my fan base or market I am in, if I did, I would lose all credibility.

Jan, I have and always will hold you in a high esteem. I give Detroit plenty of critique and try to step back in the blog. After MN I said they were physically outplayed and outshot. The team’s overpassing and blue line issues have been something I’ve been very honest with. Yes, I was frustrated. We saw Bertuzzi ejected for a slash to the thigh, Larkin ejected for a hit that on the next night happened to him with no penalty. It is nearly impossibly to completely remove yourself, but I do try and step back. Last night, to me, was a debacle with a lot of ugly hits we’ve seen players ejected for. However, again, I opened the article and the title talking about being outplayed. NYR deserved the win, there was no question. It’s an even great frustration that comments ignore the credit given to the Rangers team. The blaming of Gostisbehere by the commentary for his own injury was just a step too far. I’ll admit that I probably should have skipped the post completely. I tried to go play by play, period by period, but in the end saw massive inconsistency in rulings and players put in high danger situations. Larkin was ejected for a hit that saw Oshie right back on the ice. The resulting damage is considered in assessments. Gostisbehere had to leave the ice surface. That frustration did not subside and carried over in a regrettable way. I’ve complimented your writing in my time here as well as you overall. I’ve never gone into your blog and left an open comment about feeling something was mishandled, I would have reached out to you as a professional courtesy.

Agree to an extent on the bold. But as we all know, the department of Player Safety is an oxymoron who are bad at their jobs, creating these gray areas and problems. If they dole out punishment as they should, maybe the game would be cleaner. But players also don't know how to protect themselves, which also creates some of the problems.

I don't care about Larry Brooks in the slightest lol. Just pointing out hes not the only one posting click bait

I agree with you that dirty play shouldnt have a part in the sport But I don't think anything that the Rangers did last night compares to what Wilson did to Panarin. We can agree to disagree. Cheers bud

All good, I get and appreciate the emotion. Why I try and wait a smidge before I write, so I can be objective, if possible, while criticizing if need be. Appreciate the response.

Unlike you, I've actually read his blogs since day one. If you disagree with this particular blog that's fine.. we all got opinions. But your negative comments are beyond insulting and a bit too disparaging. I'm glad other Ranger fans have more class than you. You're obviously the bottom of the barrel.

One emotional blog does not warrant your over the top insults simply because you disagree. Your broad "click bait" statements and other comments are not based in reality. Jeremy is not a "click bait" blogger... that is ridiculous. This blog was more about frustration I'd say. I don't agree with everything in it... but I can see he was frustrated. Try to show some class before spewing such insults.

Bro, I love reading you when you are fired up. You make my day. I hope those homering pigeons at TNT get their karma due. And, btw, did you hear them all say the Wings are making the playoff now. Probably hurt them all to say that.

I did crack up at Lundquist and his 3 goalie rant. The one highlight of the broadcast.

I did this for YOU. I went frame by frame until kreider made contact, screen shot it, uploaded it, pasted it here. This was not convenient for me. Kreider weighs over 200 lbs and Debrincat is a lil guy. He was absolutely launched. Dirty? No. Hilarious? Yes, since no one got hurt. sleep it off
- picklerick

Kreider is trying to look better after Mo Seider’s rookie year reverse check on him. So Kreider stays away from Seider and targets the smaller dogs. I actually agree with you about it being funny. This stuff makes the game enjoyable. As long as nobody gets hurt.

I’m certain he does not remember that the same way Debrincat won’t remember this one but okkkkk
