I might get things worse between pat and fido, but i will express my opinion that i don't have the feeling cayden primeau is going to become a solid nhl goaltender. Maybe a #2. He has an overally good and structured technique but he seems not quick enough with his hand-eye coordination.

I think it's more about an overreaction than anything...

and yes, you may be right about Primeau. he's missed a lot of important development time though during covid, and he's still young for a goalie, so I feel he still has the potential to be a solid backup, maybe a #1 if his learning curve ever continues to spike. we'll see.

still too early to tell imo. way too early. he looked very good for 2 months. now he had a bad period. what I want to see is how he will rebound. hopefully the coach will play him soon.

not just the PP Pete. everything that is related to team play is terrible. PK, defensive coverage at 5 on 5, PP... name it. some players are progressing individually (Guhle, Slaf, Barron...) and some not really (Caufield and Suzuki... hello?) but collectively it's a catastrophe. been saying it for months, now starting to hear it on the radio and on rds. I'm not totally dumb either. lol
