Why not wait a little longer to sign Monty? Let’s see how he can do with a bigger sample size and tougher opponents? And if something happens with one of our goalies (trades, injuries etc) then it might just work itself out.

Just because other teams are desperate for goaltenders, shouldn’t put any pressure on the Habs.

I'd have no problem going 6x5M. don't think that will be necessary, 4x4.5 could probably do it. but that would be my limit.

True. I’d just hate to see them throw 4.5 at Monty for 4+ seasons.

I think the easiest would be to send Allen through waivers…..but I’m sure Hughes and the gang have too much respect for Allen to do so.
