I could see Calgary moving one of hani or tanev and then maybe the other at tdl if they are not in a playoff spot.

I'm kinda surprised that Calgary moved so quickly on Zad, for such an underwhelming return. Aren't they just a couple points out of a playoff spot? And we're only at the quarter mark? He must've been asking to be moved.

Agree. Calgary had little leverage and the return was underwhelming. People in this forum were ready to back up the assets truck to get Zad. If HB was the GM, the Flames would have walked away with Nylander, a high pick, and prospect.
