Cooper, Brindy, Montgomery... no question why their names come up year after year in player polls of who guys would most want to play for. They're smart, give players leeway to be creative and they aren't bumholes. And they've had recent success.

And our guy... always tops the list of coaches players wouldn't want to play for. Mind games galore. Restrictive system. Arbitrary discipline. And I'm guessing there will multiple decent players on this team who will be asking for trades or declining to re-up to get away from Torts.

If I was Farabee, I'd be pretty pissed off. Kid played all last year when he wasn't 100%. Never made excuses and never dogged it. He makes a mistake and bumhole Tortorella decided to make an example out of him. It's hysterical how some players can build up a huge deposit of trust and immunity with Tortorella and some can't. Completely arbitrary and without reason. It's as if Tortorella is an addict that can't function as a coach unless he is getting his fix and singling out somebody.

I think the Flyers will get exposed for who they are in the next month. I looked at their schedule and I'm guessing that they will know that they aren't a playoff team a month from now. They may not be favored in any of those games in that span. Of course, that still might not stop them from resigning Walker. We shall see...

Yes, but we know that they have to be hit over the head a few times before they realize it. This next month will likely do it, but who knows. I had them in last place in the eastern conference by Thanksgiving after they lost to the Sharks.
